for $250 that is a good deal.
Think the scoop might just be a stick on one. So the bonnet could be saved.

I know the guy who bought that car, he owns a 240K as well, three of them bout the car so thats like $83.35 each and he said the engine is in good condition but they are thinking of selling it again as they dont have a place to garage the car. Im getting tempted A14 with weber carb and gearbox hmmmm
