You can get a set of those flares here in US for 200. Will you be going to Shasta this year?

If you can let me know where to get those flares, that would be excelent. About Shasta, yes, I am planning on going, if I have the 610 lowered, I will take it, unless the B210 transplant is ready by the time, in that case, I would want to take the B210, I am sure I would be the only B210 there. The suspension is ready, ground control coil overs, konis all around, addco sway bar on front, traction bars on rear(work pretty well, almost like sway bars)...but the motor is not up to the susp, yet, we will see.

I'll be at Shasta, but at 1800 miles away, my Datsun won't be there.

Hope to meet all you guys there.

Hy. You mentioned 510 springs, motorsports I believe, I was told, and perhaps I might be wrong, never owned a 510 Datsun, but the 510 springs are thinner than the 610's, is that right?
How will you drop your suspension 2 inches, my plan is the ground control coil overs, or else, cut off springs and downsized strut assemblies.
Now I have a place where I can work on my car w/no problems, my own closed garage, so I am planning to get a 280Z transmission, is it a direct bolt on?
I know about the pedal assembly, no big deal there, but, L20B to 280Z transmission, is it bolt on or does it need a adaptor?

Well, I have been told my taillights are from a later 75+ model. Mine is a '74, though. I would rather have the ones like yours, but they are impossible to find.

They are the same diameter.

Cut springs for now, 280ZX struts and coil-overs later.

280Z transmission will bolt right in, but the 280Zx has a better 5th gear (0.75 vs 0.85).

1200rallye car: Thanks for posting the pix, and also thanks for the tip. With this info, I will be able to post directly.

10's & 20's, my 610 is a 74 too, and got exempted from smog here in California for ever, good!. If I get in the way of a tailight set up, I will let you know, once I saw one, but, since I did not know anybody else owning a 180B, I let it go. I only know about one other 610, Demitri's(he went to Shasta last year, his is yellow, perhaps you saw it), and yours now. Once I saw a 4 door at a neighbors' door, but never again, probably somebody visiting, and it looked like it needed some care.
About the springs, good to know, I will also cut off my springs, just to look and see how it looks and performs, later, ground control front(rear is spring alone, no Mc P)...or some 280ZX transplants. While I cut the springs, I am thinking about cutting a section off the struts. How far, I do not know, if anybody has a clue on that, let me know.
About the transmission, excelent, a 280ZX will do.
