From my understanding back before this was a privatly ran site, it was a yahoo group. There was a thread about performance and somone went on about puttin on fanta injection on their engine, and at the time was quite funny, I myself wasn't a part of that group so I'm just going from what I have read and understand, one of the veteran members could give you a story more detailed then mine

Cheers
Damo

it was similar to water or methanol injection, but the carbonated action of the fanta makes datsuns go faster (down hill with a tail wind) and especially if fanta orangein colour.

Don't give away too many of our old secrets or the DLF will come get you.

The DLF is still highly active but a little more circumspect these days. The southern chapter in NZ recently acquired 3 Datsuns in a 1 month period - all cars have been removed to a safe house to undergo extensive efforts to repatriate them into a caring community where they will be appreciated by the generation to come.

you're all on drugs.
or shooting up the stuff.

fanta injection was tried over water because the sugar content in fanta would aid in combustion. well, that was the theory anyway. if it dries in the lines it gets sticky and impedes flow, so it's a one off thing.
you could use lemonade, mountain dew, coke, solo...hell, even beer. although why you would make your car an alcho eludes me when you yourself could become one for the same price....

if you do get it to work then post your results. the only way to tell is by a dyno graph.
