Hi all, well with a lot of thought I have decided to sell both my two door and 4 door 1200's
the two door has been stripped and painted in an eggshell colour in the sun has a pearl coming thru.
these are the main bits of interest, GX bonnet GX bootlid with fully restored GX boot trim (unrestored one as well) all chrome has been done including a new genuine front bar and restored bar overriders I also have a set of later rubber ones.
has new genuine screen seals and factory blue tinted glass.
fully rebuilt front discs including gas inserts,new discs,bearings pads ect.
friont suspension has been powdercoated and new ball joints, I have not replaced tie rod ends but it has good ones with low mileage.
new hoodling,perfect coupe seats,dash is still to be restored,two complete sets of coupe guages including two ute clocks.
ute diff modified to suit.minilight wheels with new tyres.
restored tin grill and all lights have been rebuilt and are as new.
The GX engine has been fully rebuilt including first oversize rings and pistons mild cam twin su's (they cost a bomb).
five speed smooth case overdrive has been stripped and rebuilt.
I have about 3 uteloads of good parts that I have pulled from cars that I have wrecked .and about a grands worth of new parts
there is ####loads more that I have missed but I can't think of it right now as my brain hurts.
The second car is an original 73 4d with machting numbers engine rebuilt 2000 miles ago with h/d clutch dog leg five speed,carby rebushed and kitted.
new dics brake front end with gas suspension all round,new rear brakes.13"sss mags and also original rims and hubcaps
It also has a genuine sqare clock which was an option in Oz that I have never seen before.This car has done 4000 miles since 1998 I have the receipts to prove this
I also have parts books,microfische and viewer all workshop manuals(gen and non gen).
I am hoping to get ten grand for the lot and before I get hammered wright down what all these thing would be worth to get done,

Wow, looks like you are getting right out of the datsun thing. I understand the sad day thing since you clearly have spent many hours on all this stuff, not even considering all the expense of cash. Hi Guys, Yes I have spent many hours so far on the car but since changing jobs(6 am starts nowdays) and with the arrival of our first (gorgeous) son I just don't have the time to spend in finishing the 2 door and also we have an old house that we are renovating.
So after rendering my wife speechless ( first time for everything) I said I was going to sell all my Datsuns and by a ute.
I am hoping to get a late model Nissan Navara which would do away with having a trailer as well but what I get for the 1200's will determin what I end up with.
I forgot to mention in my post that the 2 door is a rolling shell,but just about everything is there to put it back together.
So if anyone is interested or has any questions I am happy to answer them

hey mate how r ya, im really after a 5 speed gear box to put in my ute.... i was wonderin if u could help me out,must be able to bolt up to an A15.....

Hi Dat, my fivespeeds will bolt straight up to an A15,but they are not for sale .
The dogleg one is in my 4 door which I drive and the rebulit one is for the 2 door.
