each model has its own benefits and returns i reckon. i think all the 1200s have style and look good.

for the 1200 utes, they are a ute and a 1200, need i say more :)

the 1200 coupe i reckon proably the ulitmate 1200 for racing and puting the most HP through for all round handling etc, with a great style and unusal back which some people love and some people dont. i want one too!!!!!!

but the 1200s utes are the most popular in OZ, propably because of our ute culture and you can get heaps of slabs in the tray

EVERYBODY who says utes arent the best is clearly wrong. and thats the end of that discussion. As for buying a ute and looking at it... that is also wrong. Here is a much better solution, buy a ute if you dont like it give it to me for the princely sum of $1 and ill send you monthly photos and school reports.

Jempson, How tall are you?

I'm only 6"1', but I like my seat all the way back, in the "fully sick" position :)

I did a trip from Sydney to Dubbo in a 1200 ute (to retrieve a 1000 coupe). With a standard diff and gearbox, you really pull some big revs on the highway in a ute.

Personally, I'm much more comfortable in my wagon.

LOL I think that the $80 entry fee I paid you gives me the rigth to go for a ride!!!!!

I have enough probs driving my 1200 sedan with my back/leg room as it so I do think that the ute will be to small to take on long trips.

As to buying one just for the sake of having it parked up in the garage........dont think that will happen. Plus there is no room for the dogs!!!! and NO I will not put them in the back!!!!!!!........... But I think me and A14force might put the sheep in the back thro LOL!!!!!

Man don't fight it go with the flow, I had a ripper in my younger days, I to am 6 feet tall and drove my ute from Brissy to Melbourne and back.
I was bloody sore from the seating position but christ I had a ball, I would gladly do it again but my wife won't let me.
