WHATS NOT TO LOVE? the utes are (speaking complete unbiased) the best model 1200. look for rust in all the usual places and also on the inside and outside where the tray joins to the cab. Im 6ft and i fit in em fine. sure the first time you get in its a lil uncomfortable but like anything you adapt and get used to it. My name says it all.. its GODA-B-A-UTE!

James

I had one that i drove from Pyramid Hill in Victoria [Near Bendigo] to Melbourne & on up to Port Maquarie in NSW, for a total of just over 1,700k, in a single 23hr period. I'm 6 feet tall & let me tell you, the second best feeling in the world [after sex] was getting out of that thing.
It was a bit squeezy, but not so bad that i wouldn't own one. I spent 6 hours driving it home 2 days later. Those tall tyres on 6" wide Bluebird rims helped the gearing enormously.
Jempson, How tall are you?

I would own a 1200 ute, _but_ I've never sat in one where I was comfortable in the drivers seat!! They are no good for tall people :( the seats just don't go far back enough.

I am thinking about getting one but I want to know more about them. As I am liking them the more I see them.
