i dont want to put a vanette diff in the coupe...its heavier and I think overkill for a 130hp A15. BUT a way to go might be to put a Bluebird H165 disc brake rear in the coupe. Do you know what the measurement is of the Bluebird rear is over the ute rear? ....as I really need to improve the rear track. The rear disc setup from the bluey is the way to go with a 200B Master cylinder. I will also be using brake bias as well.
Any info on slotting solid discs? i think some Willwood racing discs are solid and slotted...anyone wont to confirm?

Hey guys !
Thanks for all the great replies !! Certainly got a few people thinking it seems. I will post some photos after Easter of the brakes mounted on my H145 diff along with the 13" wheels fitting over. Will still go with the vanette assy for the racecar but search for a 4.11 centre for circuit work and keep the 4.6 for hillclimbs. Thanks for the 200B master cyl. tip as I will be using the series 1 B/B fronts so they match. Will modify Bluebird struts to have 1200 spring platform and sleeve bluebird bottom balljoint to accept 1200 balljoint and arm. (just for the exercise and to retain my current reinforced lower arms). Will most likely manufacture adjustable coil platforms at a later date. Have a new set of JTS flares but they seem designed more for offside of car than nearside. Is this the case ? I can't just turn them over for nearside as they may fit but just don't look as good. Any tips greatly appreciated !! Cheers and THANKS again to all !!!

Bluey struts will be too much trouble as the ball joints are bigger, I think, let me know how you go. I'd use 200b/stanza/240k, Stanza would be the pick of them.
Bluey rear track width from memory is 70mm wider, or is it 140mm, pretty sure it's 70. The other choice is a 180B Wagon, they had a H165, either a 4.11 or a 3.89 ratio

I saw it. Very desirable, like a good woman. I thought i must have been going into politics, as i'm sure that i felt i was having an "election" About the only thing you can do to it to make it even spoofier would be to polish it, but no one would notice it untill it was on a hoist. What do these alloy carriers come from? Obviously there are not a lot around.

I got the LZ imported through a brisbane company. When the engine turned up it it was only a shell. It had the titanium rods, pistons, cams, timing chain carriers, valves, and buckets removed.
All credit to the importer, they gave me my money back. I am looking again for another complete reasonable priced engine. The remains of that engine went to Peter Phillips in Brisbane. All in all agreat dissapointment and financial loss for me as I had spent $2000 on bits for it before it arrived. I still have an LZ20 turbo rocker cover sitting on my office wall to remind me of it! The diff is a 29 spline Carrier is x works diff with provision for oil cooler return line to splash oil directly onto pinion gear for cooling.. You can view topic.
