Im sure you will all be pleased to know my ca18det project is underway.I just bought my motor no gearbox just motor, loom, turbo, manifolds etc for $800.

When it arrives next week it will be stripped and rebuild with forged pistons, Rods all new bearings, fully machined rebored, complete head reco, port and polish job aftermarket valves and springs.

It will be a slow process but im so glad its underway. Il keep you all posted.

The ute will be staying on the road as long as possible till i have everything needed to do the conversion after that my old setup will be up for sale so il let you guys know bout that to.
cheers Luke
