high energy ignition kits

has anybody installed a high enery ignition kit into their 1200? if so did it make any significant difference?

Yes, made a difference on my car. Although if you put new points & condensor in the stock system, you'd be hard put to tell the difference. But with the electronic high energy, no more worries about replacing the points yearly.
I reckon with the high energy coil, I can open the plug gap a bit and it should run a bit better with lean mixture, but I haven't experimented with it.
