I've got 2" lowering blocks and they are crap, it looks hell hot but rides like a bitch, I don't have bump stops as I only have about 2" of room between the diff housing and the chassis above it. So I'm thinking of pulling them out and going with standard maybe get the leaves reset.

So soon I may have some 2" lowering blocks plus ubolts and nuts up for sale.

Cheers
Damo

My springs were reset so low they are flat.

ride is harsh. suspension is nonexistant.

If I had lowering blocks in there at least the springs would still be able to do the job they were intended for.

Mate i`ve tried both lowering blocks & reset reversed eye leaf springs(not both in at the same time of coarse) Lowering blocks were the worse things i ever bolted in my ute! The car handled like a pig, honestly those blocks did terrible things to my car. Thank christ i got rid of `em.
My new leaf springs are the ants-pants, totaly different car!!! Drives better than it ever did new,2.5" lower,a set of monroe GT gas shocks and u would never ghess that u were driving a ute!

around $500 including Leaves, urethane bushes & U-bolts(and if u have an h165 diff, they`ll give u the right U-bolts to suit the larger diameter axle housing)
Worth every cent

axle tramp = misalignment in drive train causing vertical movement under load.
basically..the lowering blocks have moved your axle and diff and they are now lower than your tailshaft...putting more strain on uni joints and making rotational torque of wheels trying to push axle up to where it should be.
hence bounce bounce shake shake action
so basically again..do it right the first time...get your springs reset and keep everything aligned or soon the bounce bounce shake shake might be followed by blown uni joints..blown diffs..prematurely worn bushes and other suspension components..and a whole lotta more trouble and expense than saving a few bucks by just getting a slap-in block kit.
probably why the more expensive option normally exists... 'cause it's the right way of doing it, not cutting costs or corners.

i have had both sedan and ute rear springs reset Flat and both are comfortable alot stiffer than standard but not uncomfortable

if u run lowering blocks u will get axel tramp unles u run caltrack system 2 hold your diff steady.
i have r31 diff under my ute with a 1,1/2'' block welded on to diff which holds the leafs. and have leaf spring flat (2, 1/2) so its lowered about 4'' from standard height
it sits on the rim of a 15'' wheel with 60 series tyre and rides pritty well
