ok.. today my mum borrowed my datsun to go into brissie.... anyway when she got home i noticed my rear left wheel was smoking...!!!!!

she left the handbrake on!!!!!

i sprayed it with water for like 5 minutes untill it stopped smoking.... i will take the tyre off and check the damage when it has cooled down...

what sort of damage can occur from this!?!?

the rear right wheel wasnt smokin tho

for one you shouldn't hose hot brakes from what i've been told, but there shouldn't be any damage the only thing that could happen is have the pads glazed and not work to the best of their ability. hey you never know you might be at the poit onf needing new drum shoes anyway and it came just a the right time
check them both out and check your fronts at the same time just to be safe because none of us want to hear about someone crashing their datsun and hurting it or themselves
