Michael, 22

ashamed to say it was a 6cyl cortina at first, but never looked back from my first datto 1200 at $500, imagine selling a 6cyl cortina for an automatic 1200, definately a change of pace, but i love my 2 dattos now, and they move quicker than the cordy did

I'm from the planet Mars, I'm 31, I have 3x 1200 Sedans, and a Pulsar SSS (Would prefer an R32 GTR with a Trust T88 Turbo) Maybe next year...gotta love the 15 year import rule! Open the floodgates from Japan!!

I hate that I have to work 50 hours a week to afford this crazy Datto habit, that my tightarsed government doesn't give me any mental health support for.. Those lamer Movie stars with their damn "Betty Ford" clinics and pickles on Maccas burgers just drives me nuts.

Smoking tires is not a health hazard..

If you're smart and financally well off, WHY NOT IMPORT A 1989 GTR??

Bart 27. Own three dattos, all road legalish, and all "A" powered. Unmarried, but why buy the cow, when you can get the milk for free?

Married, and possibly expecting...
180B daily, 240C project.
mad on rotors - and dattos with live rear ends.
got a soft spot for retrotech cars (old cars with new engines) and sleepers.
heavy into motorkhanas and autokhanas, looking at trying out some drag racing now with the 240C.

The first bit told the story...they are still too expensive, and I'm slowly going broke with my Datto project. One thing at a time. I think it's unwise for any man to have more than 1 crazy hobby at a time.

'89 GTR -> $28,000-$40,000
+ $3000/yr insurance
+ a lot of worry if I want to park it anywhere. That's why I have the Pulsar, only desperados want to steal one of those slugs.

I worry about parking my Dattos anywhere..
Maybe I've lived in Sydney too long. I need a big farm shed in the middle of a 20 acre block.

This is what I want eventually..A big country block with plenty of rally space or a private sealed racetrack. I could put a deposit down on a farm in some areas for the cost of a GTR

Chris.

...ahhh dreams are nice.
