LC-LJ Holden Torana's ,engine parts are cheap they are simple to work on ,and ther'es nothing like dragging off a 2000 model import worth 20-30 grand in a 72 model holden worth 2-3 grand .

If Nissan/Datsun didn't exist, I would own a 1970-1972 Buick Skylark and it would be damn fast. My family was big into classic US muscle like this, and I had one for a while but gave up on it to continue to pursue my Datsun 1200. Now I've reacquired some classic US muscle so I'm just doing both instead of just one or the other

I would either do one of those sweet lil mazda utes up or have somethin with airbags in it. Dunno y, just love very low rides

this is sort of related:
you guys reckon that the skyline is the nissan version of the 1200???? after datsun changed to nissan, nissan 1200 didn't sound right, so they made it nissan skyline... thats what i love telling people!!!

if there were no datsuns i would own a 1965 caddilac deville convertible, and also one of the early mazda RX cars probably a RX3, with a 20B triple rotor turbo. oh momma that would be sweet
