Hey I put this thread on the off topic section because its not a datsun but some help would be much appreciated.
Ive found a Toyota Corona 1970 2 owner MINT low ks etc.. And Im wondering what its worth in NZ/AU Are they colectable? its the nice snout-nosed one (similia shaped front 2 the mk2 escort rs) Were they ever raced? I was thinking it would make for a nice 3sge conversion.

They are pretty cool. Wouldn't pay more than NZ$3000. But any low K's early 70s car is reasonably cool in my books.

I'd put an SR20DET in it

I've got a '69 four-door corona you can have for $20, but that probably doesn't help you...

I gather its munted? If so Ill keep you in mind if I cant find parts (ie trim).

If its a runner 1500 - 2000, if its not reg or wofed 100 - 1000. I asked a mate who sells cars and with out any pic or more info thats what we came up with.

I can't picture the model but for $2500 it would want to be pretty tip top wouldn't it?
Reminds me when I had to have my 1972 1600 valued for insurance by LMVD car shark, original 1600, original paint, due for respray but still very tidy, 108,000mls, took it to Taupo Nissan where the 'expert' (cough cough) said it was worth less than $500!! I thanked him very much for his time and left, wondering how it is that someone who knows so little about cars could possibly bluff his way into a job selling the things!

Yea I sold the coupe about 2 months ago to Brent (frequents this site) and have been working in the 2door. It was the hardest thing Ive had to part with since I had my dog put down (not the same but hard nun-the-less).Ive got a pic of the car but Im having trouble getting it onto the computer, but will get there in the next few days. It is a minter.
