I dont think they are over priced..

They are a rare vehicle and paying between 7 and 9K for a rare, standard, mint Condition 1200 Ute is reasonable.

Its called investing. They keep their value, and ones in this condition only go up in value. buy it, keep good care of it for 5 years, and sell it for a couple grand extra, and you'll know what i mean.

When I drive my ute and every second day someone comments on it or leaves notes and stuff on it, it shows that it is a wanted car. Also there is not many around in such good condition, so I totally disagree with you Criag. I am selling this car to build another vary rare 1954 beetle, the comments I get with this and the offers are crazy. This guiy rings me every month from Sydney asking me to sell my car when he knows it not for sale and a friend of mine just sold another totally rusted 54 for $5000. So when you have something a little obscure, the prices will always stay high. I wish I bought 5 of them in 1985 when they were really cheap.

Makes me happy to find out how cheap i got my ute compare to what people are asking.
Mine came with fresh paint new panels new lowered suspension all round new bushes all round. A15 extractors 2" stainless steel excaust reco gearbox and diff. Stanza front brake conversion custom interior and even 6 months rego all this for $5000 how sweet is that driving it home i stop at the shops and got offered $8000 on the spot im glad i didnt take it.
PS maybe when people see buys like this they are a little reluctant to spend $7500 on a stocka

yeah i was pretty happy with mine too!...... i paid 500 for it, its in pieces but it is all there, it come with new Fiberglass front 1/4s new door skins, A14, 45 DHLA dellorto, two 32/36 webers, and a few other bits and pieces. needs a bit of work tho plenty of time to do it, im waitin for the shed to be built so i can get the ute in there and take the diff and front end out and then clean all the body up under neath, take out all the rust ( theres not alot) then rust gaurd it and body deadan it then put the diff, and a 120y front end in it

Hi, I still have my ute for sale as the guy who was going to buy it cant sell his RX7 to buy my ute and I cant wait for him anymore.
