iirc, nissan never offered a lsd for the H150

That's correct, not from the factory, but they did offer them in the US-issue Motorsport catalog some years back. Part numer was 38420-A1265. They're NLA nowadays.

Speaking of Nismo LSD units brings back a memory I didn't want to remember. Back in the eighties, the parts dept. manager [at a Nissan dealer I worked for] GAVE me a brand new H165 Motorsport LSD unit. He said someone ordered it a while back and never picked it up. They sat on it for years. He said it would fit a 610 or 710. I graciously accepted it, but never had a 610 or 710 [and knew I never would]. My car was a B310 and the thought of swapping in an H165 rearend never entered my mind back then. This was in the days before ebay, so after about five years of storing this thing, [now get this] I threw it in the metal scrap pile behind the shop! Duh! Now I WISH I had it back!

Are your sure? I have the 1984 Nissan Competition Parts catalog and it says:Quote:
The factory does not produce ... limited slip units for the H150 differentials

sidedraught, what did you ever do with that H150 lsd? If you installed it, how did it work for you? Has it been reliable. Is it still in use?

Anyone else got one that they never used and would like to sell?

Mike
