non DOT lamp housings rock ;)
I have the rectangular composite beam housings and they're nice and bright. maybe too bright.

if you have a real inspection thay might be a problem. here we can get away with using non standard bits if nobody complains/notices.

Some of the inspection BS you guys have to go through just kills me...

FWIW, these ARE NOT US lights, are not DOT approved, and are not made in the US. I would seriously doubt they have any of the directional fluting you describe.

And if they did, you could just install them upside down.

Yeah what dodgeman's saying is the beam of the light which the reflector creates is a pattern for driving on the right side of the road. Lights in the US have beams that point to the right. Over here and in OZ, etc. the beams are pointing to the left. I tried to get a car with US lights to pass inspection and it was impossible to aim the lights within the inspection requirements.

I am 99.9% sure none of the lights in the US do this. I've never even heard of it?

T & T, are the lights in the photos actually 7" items? They just "look" to be the 5-1/2" size to my eyes.

Yes, they are definitely 7", but the angel eyes "ring" makes them look a bit smaller. It's just a perspective thing. They look AWESOME on the car though.

You mean like broker them? I suppose. Perhaps we could get a "group buy" going...

These may not be legal in Australia as these light probably dip down & to the right. That means that for those driving on the right side of the road, the low beam illuminates the right edge of the road.

For those of us who drive in the left lanes, we need [legally, & safety-wise] lights that dip down & to the left. I can not say for sure if that is purely a function of the H4 bulb, or if the conctruction of the light is involved. In the old days, the pattern of flutes on the lens for right & left drive vehicles was reversed in many instances for this reason.

T & T, are the lights in the photos actually 7" items? They just "look" to be the 5-1/2" size to my eyes.

Angel Eyes Halogen Conversion kit, designed to replace the standard sealed beam headlights in your 1200 (but will also fit B210, 210, anything with 7" sealed beam lights).

They cost me $70USD, will take $45USD obo. They are still new in the box and have never been used. Prefer to ship to US only.
