OH MY GOD!!!

are you serious, your gonna hate me for this but here goes...

you have to be kiding me, you paid $900 for a PC fan??

let me sell you some stuff please!!!

i cant believe people get sucked in, think about what you buy, specially when spending that much, and dont block ya bloody oil breather, thats horse ####, you'd have to have blown rings for that to be a problem, and even still it's bull

if you want 2 psi boost run your inlet into the car and have your passenger blow into it, as this is how much boost i get blowing into a guage

or better yet you could have built a really decent turbo system for the $1200 you spent anyway

sorry to say, but you were had, and fat chance getting your money back as i bet almost every single person that buys those things has tried too

sorry to be harsh, but it's the truth
hopefully you'll get over my abuse

I hope these scam merchants get cancer! Find out what counrty these douche bags are in and lodge a formal complaint with the goverment run consumer protection oganisation who ever they are. And maybe noone else will get burned by bogus advertising.

Reminds me a bit of the autospeed leaf blower boost system a few years back.

You could probably throw a lot of good money out to try and get back some badly spent money.

Sorry to hear of your experience.

Yeah the E-turbo's are the biggest farce. I laugh everytime I hear about or see them on the internet! Sorry to hear you got sucked into it (no pun intended). Hopefully you'll get your money back! I can't believe it cost that much for one though! You could've had the real thing for that, or less. Now you know, always consult the Datsun 1200 Club before making a purchase!! We would've set you straight. Good luck!

update...
I blanked off the breather return and put external breather cap as suggested (that seems like nice place for some NOS in) I checked for any other boost leak, none found.
I also had the battery and charging system checked by an auto electrician, all fine. auto electrician said the cables provided were not heavy enough for 57 amps in any case. each charger is meant to draw 57 amps for a total of 115, it was drawing only 80.

I did four e-ram on and four e-ram off runs on my fave secluded strip allowing 5 mins recharge time between each e-ram on run. the result was a consistent 13.9 secs with it off and 13.8 with it on. this was done with 2 people, full fuel tank and toolbox etc in boot. Eight times straight, no mistake, it does NEARLY NOTHING.

also for the guys who reckon i could have built a true turbo for the same money (dont know how unless i owned HKS or something!) theres 2 reasons i didnt do that. one is that a lot of what i have already put in like exhaust, intake etc would have to come off and would then been a waste of money.
The other reason is im already at about the limit of what power the auto can handle n/a. another 20 kw would be the absolute limit b4 bang!
so i was really chasing better bottom end below 2800 rpm where the car is flat. and i figured that as most turbos have only 2-5 psi at those revs it would be the same thing.

anyway even if i send it back and trust them to refund me, im still about 400$ out of pocket, so i might add better impellors and put 24V instead of 12V thru the thing, then if it burns out, bin it.

On the bright side, a tenth of a second is something. It's not much but it's something.

mate these electric blowers are designed for cars 1.6L and under.

Now with ur 3L V6 its gonna suck more air than the blower can supply so ur not gonna get much boost, if any. Boost is made when the blower is pushing more air in than the car can suck, therefore creating pressure in the inlet.

Did u hook up a boost guage 2 see if u were getting any boost?
with the size of ur engine, and the size/power of the electric blower ur probably choking the magna.

hook it up to a charade/swift/sirion/1200 etc and see how u go.

Im not sticking up 4 the product as i dont know much about it.. but i do know for a fact that they are for real small engines, not a V6!

argh your killing me here!!!

you gonna continue to dick around with it?

you saw one tenth of a second diffrence, but sounds like you had a mate pressing a damn stop watch inside the car, this could only ever get you within a second near the real time at best

120amp draw???? your alternator will only put out 25amp for flog sake, so theres no way you can sustain it, and i love to see how thick the wire is to run it at 120amp? i bet that thing has 3mm wire hanging out for you to conect up to

aym23q "i do beleive your talking out of your arse"

STOP WASTING YOUR TIME AND MONEY YOU"VE HURT YOUR POCKET ENOUGH ALREADY

p.s. i built a twin turbo system for my 1200 for around $1000-1200
