on SPEED last night, when keanu reeves is chasing after he bus in that pimps jaguar, they near miss a 240z, then the bus rams a 280zx up the ass and sends it flying over the tow truck.

280z? in Top Gun, when Maveric is sitting with his girl in the porsche after Goose dies.

Just finished watching that Austrailan iconic film "STONE". I had started high school when it was realesed(jez I'm an o'l fart). 70's outlaw biker classic. As movies go I give it a 2(I've seen worse).
Counted no less 4 1200's, 3 sedans and a wagon, 1 1K sedan and a couple of 180B'S. They featured well. Considering this film was shot on location in Sydney it goes to show just how popular our babies were. Didn't hurt sales of Kawasaki Z900's either!
Also there is a Datsun Sunny in Star Trek IV Voyage Home.

dattofrog... you took the words out of my mouth! i have "stone" on dvd, and there is a brown 1200 sedan, a white coupe, and a sh!t load of 180b's, if there ever was a classic movie with so many datto's this would be it.

earlier in the thread someone mentioned CrackerJack but theres a few more dattos in it that just the main characters (Mick Molloy) Z car.

Most notable is the literally granny spec 1000(I think) sedan they go for a drive in, that car is the ultimate datto. just lovely

ok found a 120y in the movie romper stomper seen it in a trailer on utube about the 2 minute mark it pulls up quick and a heap of asian fellas jump out..

Clint Eastwood-I haven't seen a Dat in a Dirty Harry movie but I spotted one in Heartbreak Ridge. You just get a flash of the front of one in a carpark.
