where abouts should I go to bet new head bolts for an a15? I tried autopro, repco and supercheap this afternoon, but none could get them.
Can I use any bolts (not specific head bolts) on all but the one in the middle?

Go to "Nuts, Bolts & Screws". They are located at 12 Sanford St Mitchell. Call 6262 2999. They should have what you need or you could try CBC Bearings which used to be Belconnen Metal Centre. They stock all sorts of High Tensile bolts too. CBC are located at 4 Park st in Belconnen.
Don't try to use anything but High Tensile, well I wouldn't. They are not cheap though, probably about $6 a bolt so be prepared.

Use cap screws from a nut and bolt place.

Theres heaps of dattos lying around with plenty of spares. theres also a surprising amount of dattos driving around with most of them missing.
I'm using replacements from a 200b to replace my missing ones

havn't tried nissan dealer, would they stock them?
Also reckon they'd charge more than $6 a bolt, as i just paid $35 for gearstick bushes.

The chances of finding a Nissan dealer that 'stocks' head bolts would be about ZIP, but they all know how to order them in, so finding out about price & availability will cost you a phone call.
