The Datsun Fairlady or SR311, are commonly called "Datsun Roadsters".

They came with a 1500, 1600 and a 2000cc engine. The 2L version was called "Sports 2000", and had the best power to weight ratio of any Datsun, until the Twin Turbo Z32 300ZX was released.

Good Info at http://www.datsun.org.

A gay couple (dont ask i saw them driving it one day on crown street, syd- they had to be poo pushers) had a totally restored one for sale in the trading post for $7000. It was orange and looked awesome. My uncle was thinking about getting it as he used to have one.

There is a pic of one in 'jack' the members photo album

Chris, was the Z32 still under the nissan badge, or the combo badge like the Nissan/Datsun Pulsar (the ET series one)
