Pete Brock, famous for many things, the BRE Datsun for sure, but he also designed the Cobra 'daytona' coupe body if I recall correctly.

Wasn't there a Datsun racer from down under with the same name? Scary coincidence.

Aussie Peter Brock never raced Datsuns but..............according to an old interview I have he was to have driven a Datsun with John Roxborough for his first outing at Bathurst, but accepted a late offer from Harry Firth to drive a Holden and well the rest is history.
