As long as she isn't like Granny McGo. This was [alegedly] the psuedonym for the real life granny that the Beach Boys did the song about [Little old Lady from Pasedena] The story that i got is that she really did have a Dodge Super Stock with 426 Hemi. I don't know if it was just a grocery getter, or if it was raced, but if for groceries, then she sure knew how to get home before the ice cream melted.
I believe that she apeared in some Dodge advertisements, & if she is still with us, she would be in her high nineties at least.
Go granny go.

CA18DET_man has got it right. It matters not how fast, or how quick it goes, for a street car what's really important is how well it DRIVES.

i think it was in '84 or '85 i was driving along Glenfield Rd, North Shore (NZ) in my first SSS. I pulled along side an RS2000 (shovel nose). next thing we were off i did not overtake him but he did loose me either. a nice fast short sprint (5km) that was a great way to end a night out. can't remember the speeds but the car was pretty hairy. trouble is it cost me the bottom end

Every Saturday nite when i owned my FJ20T 1200 ute i would go racing.I beat alot of cars GT3 911, BMW M3, VL turbos the best thing about beating all these cars was my datto look like a piece of #### and cost me nuthing and seeing the face of the guy driving a $250,000 GT3 as i went screaming past (once i got Traction) was priceless.

Hey dattodude ive got the perfect car for you to run once your car is finished. My cousin is building a mitsubishi VR4.It was alreadt ready the fastest VR4 in Australia before he pulled it off the road a couple of years ago.
Not much will beat a 9sec 4WD turbo on the street.

You're forgetting your special all custard diet though - the optimum physical condition you are displaying will add more to your lap times than mechanical improvements can take off. 'Sometimes hp is not enough' - Dr. Nick
