did u blow the head gasket coz of detonation? if so is it coz the timing was too advanced? and how much boost were u running when it blew?

i was using a series 2 bluebird L bblock and didn't realise that they have higher comp pistion in them around 9.5
i shoud have used a 200b motor as they are lower comp but it's too late to change it now. haven't had any troubles with the head since putting in copper gasket.
