Hey Guy's
Was wondering what you guys would think of an a15 twin turbo jobbie. We have done exactly that and are hoping that everything works out fine.Still sorting the aftermarket management system so dunno how it will run ok.It's got a very small I think t2.8 and a big daddy T3/T6 Mother to help things along. Please tell what you think, will try to post some pics somewhere

Sounds great. 1200rallycar is running a twin-turbo a-series engine and has had good results.

It appears that 1200RC's and this system differ quite a bit though... this looks like they're plumbed in series (not sure if that's the correct term). It would be really interesting to see how it goes. It's definitely more complicated, but with the right tuning it'll probably have good results. Here's his pic:

awesome, be intrested to see how this setup turns out

as mentioned i have a twin turbo setup, running a carb

i have used 2 cyl to feed each equally sized turbos individually, then joint the exhaust after the turbos

mine is a blow through setup, is that what you have planned with this also?

just noticed an external wastegate in there too

if your intrested my turbos are both from a daihatsu diesel 1000cc

this set up is typically used for both low rpm and high rpm response.
the small turbo spools up at low rpm to give good low down power till the big turbo spools up for mid range and hige rpm.
Works ok on series 6 mazdada rx7 and early model soarers, the smaller turbo generates a lot of heat though and in both cases tends to craock the manifolds after about 50,000kms.
Its like the 4agze supercharger and turbo kit, works well in theory but could work better in real life.
