Do I just get this done at a panel joint? Also should I stay away from fibre glass flares.. I dont want the bolt old school ones but the ones that just look like the guard hs been pulled out a bit....???? Does that make sense?

All depends on what you want it to look like. If I was you go to the panel beaters/shop and get it done right.

Do you mean Forest Flares like they used to have on the rally cars where the whole guard was pumped out not just the guard lip ??
Similar to in this pic ??
If so a panel shop should be able to do it but it'll cost ya .

Nah not like that sorry, I dont know how to explain... Just around the arch of the wheel so it lips out a bit. Maybe even cut a bit rounder for more clearance...

Just get a piece of steel pipe and get a mate to hold it while you slowly drive the car forwards and backwards while he holds it on the tyre and it will roll around as the tyre turns .

Make sure you get a thick enough piece of pipe but ,, It will roll the guard perfectly all the way around and roll the lip at the same time .
If done right it will come out smooth aswell but probably crack the paint .

If you are going to roll the guards yourself using the pole method you would be wise to heat the paint up a bit with a hair dryer. This will stop it from cracking in most cases.

Thanks Matty. So if my guards are lipped under already this method will flare it out a bit?
