since on the L20B the intake and exaust manifold are on one side....(the right side)

what about from the header, route the exaust pipe under or around the transmision and locate the turbo on the left side out of the tight space....

and route the intake pipe over/behind the valve cover/head.

would it work...i know its all about action instead of talk but is it a good idea...

suggestions please.....any

not big on it personally.

i would say locate the turbo further forward into the battery /washer bottle space, instead of putting it under the car.

(i have no idea what side the battery in on in a 620 ute, so you may have to relocate it to a marine box on the tray)

this would open up a lot of unused space and provide you with an easier place to locate the turbo to construct manifolds and inlet piping.

This is an interesting idea. I wouldn't do it, but it's still interesting.

ApHaSia, what magazine did you see this in?

why and why not????

will i need a intercooler??if i don't want one what are the ups and downs..and what will be the power loss if not???thanks

if you're going draw thru you can't use an intercooler. it acts as a fuel trap - one backfire and your intercooler will become "space junk"

you could make a fuel chiller though.

have you read the books i suggested?
