I think I understand what he is saying. Simmons FR19's mean the wheels are 19s not 17s (FR17's). Just Simmons terminology. Its not 19inch wide as phunkdoktaspok says but 19inch in diameter.

Datto7 my friend, my buddy, ol pal o mine, think very carefully before you try and have a go at someone. Do you think my post was serious? pfff c,mon anyone with any common sense could read it and see it for its sarcasm. Kinda like me saying " hey did you see that hot looking ute with the bullbar" Keyword ( Sarcasm )

If you think I am having a go at you, you would be correct! remember all the people you think I pi$$ off on this site and then think carefully before you make statements!

Live hard - die!!

First of all, you are not my friend nor my buddy nor an old pal of mine. I dont even know who you are. What I do know about you is that you are very critical of people when the have something to say that is in opposition to what you believe, also you are very opinionated and like to have your say quite often.
When you are often critical of what people say, please check your posts before posting information that is in direct conflict to the picture in your signature.

In my opinion (and thats all it is - MY OPINION) you are what I refer to as a Tosser.

Oh and even though I think you are a tosser, I would not wish that you would die. My signature is not to be taken that way and I resent your last line of your post.

an 8.9 would be impossible with just a std VN 5.0L. just not enough torque to keep your momentum up at the top end of the track. i know some people get extra-ordinary power out of the rebuilt 304s, but surely it's had work done...

i mean, gearing and stall speeds will only get you so far.

Datto7 after all these years I am hurt that you only tell me this now.
If you took your time to understand things, you would have noticed yourself exactly what pro240c has pointed out. This is my reason for making point of the wheels.
Why would you resent me saying "Live hard - die!!" Death is inevitable. Its exactly what I plan to do in life. I am truely saddened that you on the other hand you aspire to Live Hard but yet wish to die in a motor vehicle being stupid. But it is your choice but kinda foolish in my opinion.
As for the pic in my signature it is obvious what it's saying, but its meaning is different when used with different tones of voice.

the1200kid if the wheels are 17" in diameter they are FR17's, if not they arent 17" or they are not real Simmons

I stand by my comment...

http://www.simmonswheel.com.au/range.html#

FR17s and FR19s are the same style but not size. FR17s only come in 17" FR19s only come in 19".

Have you got a pic of your ute? I want proof

mmmmhhhmmmmm.

if you'd have said it ran a 9.9 instead of an 8.9, at least when i look at the position of the keys on the keyboard i can see "okay, his finger slipped" and all is forgiven.

but to insult my intelligence and say it ran a 10.9 instead - well, you should think about how you could have slipped up with that.

and a std VN 304 in a whatever still wouldn't pull those kinda times.
