Can u guys give me some info on these carbies. Im lookin in 2 buyin some. Are they reliable, how are they on petrol. The ones im lookin at are of a 2ltr alfa, what would i need 2 get apart from the manifold to fit them on 2 my a15???.Pretty much what im askin is should i go towards these carbies or not. Whats a reasonible price 2 pay 4 them 2

I wouldn't have them but that's just my personal preference. I an a one - eyed weber fan If possible, try to get a complete set up from a A series so you know it all goes together. By the time you add in another manifold, soft mounts, maybe even throttle linkage etc - the dollars can start to add up. Usually cheap carbies are just that - cheap carbies, so try and get the best condition carbies you can't afford as the cheapies will end up costing the same after you chase problem after problem.

Dellortos are great carbies, they wont give any more grief than webers.
but I have to agree with all that other stuff, get the best condition ones you can find,ideally ones on a manifold and already set up for an A15,if you were getting the whole thing for under $500 you would be doing well.
Dont forget ram tubes, filters.
It is never cheap ,you need them dyno tuned $$ then theres jets.
You will suck petrol like a bastard, but it is still a small engine in a light car, so it not like a V8 or a rotary.

I have never regreted putting the twin Forty Dellortos on my A15.

the nz sss was standard with twin 40 dellortos.
they a proved to be fine with good fuel economy. like all carbs like these they well need to be tuned proprly and then left alone. most problems come with making changers and not retuning.
the sss has a mild cam and factory headers. i don't think that there is alot of difference just what you prefer and can afford.

i can get them 4 $200, thats including some linkages, soft mounts and air filter gaskets.
