hey guys, yesterday my left rear drum decided to sh*t itself. i was driving and when i released the brake pedal the brakes were still on. i tapped the pedal and then it went back to normal. later in the day when i pushed the brake pedal i herd a soft pop noise then the pedal went to the floor.i pulled over and i had smoke coming from the left rear drum and a puddle brake fluid on the floor. i slowly drove home. i took off the drum so i could have a look and the wheel cylinder was stuck out. anyways, i replaced the wheel cylinder and its still slightly stuck on. i tried adjusting the brakes but it didnt reely do anything. the new wheel cylinder is leaking fluid also. ive got no idea wots going on!!
any suggestions b4 i set it on fire??p.s sorry for the long post!!

I suspect the problem is an oversize (worn) brake drum and low brake shoes. If they have now worn to the point that the wheel cylinder's piston has to come out too far when braking, not leaving enough of the piston in the bore of the wheel cyl to maintaing its alignment, compromising the seal and making the piston jam up when it should be returning. Have the drums (both of them) measured by a mechanic/brake specialist.
