Hey All,

I bought a Dat 1000 Coupe a couple of years ago and had is shipped from Melbourne to here in Adelaide.

It's just about completely dismantled and has been garaged for the last 12 years.

Basically I want to do a historic racer (predominantly Classic Adelaide Rally).

My question is, would I have to re-assemble it and get the plates changed over to South Australian (then dismantle it again to begin prep, or go ahead and build the car as a racer and register it as a Rally car (I can't ask our transport department 'cause they don't like working on weekends... )

Does anyone know the low-down on rally registration?
