No, but i'm sure that some others will appreciate it.
You know by now that this is an international club, with the website based in Portugal, & many Datsun models were known by a variety of model names & numbers around the world
The car that you have is known universally as a B310, but identified as a 210 in the US, a Sunny in Australia & as the 120Y in Barbados. Other countries? I don't know yet. Sometimes a single model designation is re-used as the 120Y name [number] is much more widely connected with the '74 to about '78, B210, but as you will have noticed, was continued on the B310 in some markets.
Sometimes a common model designation is used in diferent countries, but mean diferent things, for example, the GX suffix on 1200's [B110] & 120Y's [B210] means high performance engine with twin carbs if the car is a JDM [Japan Domestic Model] or Australian [1200 only] while this engine was not used in the US GX models at all.
By including the country of origin we can be more specific with help & advice, & in most cases, write replies using the model names that would be familiar to you in your country.
This is an oft repeated situation where people write in & assume that all readers of the post automaticly know where you are. We don't need anyones home address, just the country would be good so that we can help you better.
So you see, it's not so silly after all, & i hope that you can see your way clear to remaining as a member. We are really a friendly lot. Honest, i wouldnt kid about a thing like that.
