how about usuing the gearbox out of a nissan vanette, they have the same bolt pattern, but the shifter is cabel operated so you could mount it where ever you wanted. just a thought......

I didnt have to space the sway bar at all, wich is good and cause my brother gave me a aftermarket sway bar from a 710 wagon, not sure if it will fit

Also I am still trying to findout what u joints I can put on my driveshaft, since mine are not replacable.

I dont think we had vanettes here, And I dont think I will have to cut out for the radiator, I think the engine is back far enough.

My drive shaft has nonreplacable ones, so I was wondereing what I can do.

Any ideas?

I think the 1200 automatic will work with that motor, or maybe use one from your L-Series parts cars. A lot of shops nowadays make new ones too.
