yeah im having troubles it sit between 220 and 230 but doesnt go any higher so
anyway i havent got anyroom for twins on my radiator either because of the water pump and i cant have a thermo on the outside because of the intercooler so im not to sure what to do wheather to just keep taking it easy or look into moving the intercooler down or something like that

are you sure it's that hot check your water temp manually, i recon it's your sender in the head, is it matched to the gauge?

just a couple of thoughts .......
New Gemini radiator is fine, but probably good for up to 2 litres n/a. You are running a turbo motor so you probably need more fin area to allow heat exchange to take place.
Intercooler - hmm, not being a turbo dude it may seem more important to me to have the engine temp sorted first then worry about performance gains due to cooler inlet air. Also, if the gemini radiator can only just cope with the new motor, covering it up with an intercooler will greatly redice the amount of fresh air available - and only air movement across the fins will draw the heat from the system.
Remove the intecooler (if practical) and go for a drive ... I think you will then find an improvement in cooling

P.S. Have a look at factory set ups - ie BA turbo. Small intercooler but big cooling system . Massive truck intercoolers are most suited to trucks because of turbo size, litres fed and the fact that most of the work is done at relatively slow airflow speeds.
Just a thought from a non - turbo novice

Check the flow out of the water pump by filling up a 1 litre bottle. An engine rebuilder will give you the exact procudure on how to & how long it should take to pump a litre. It will also tell you if the water is cavitating
