i wanna know who else is under the pump getting ready for datnats. tell the world your sorrows!

i have under 200km's left of my very long 2000km run in of the CA. i spliced in the Z32 AFM plug the other day and have had my computer modded with a removable eprom socket soldered in with the current chip mapped for 444 GTR injectors. car will be getting dynoe'd on the weekend hopefully and then its really about all i have time for. car is still underdone in the whole "finshedness" stakes, but i'm running the whole "run what you brung" theory.

so i'll be racing the old wags, with the current tyre scrub and positive camber'd front end. i'll also be watching my water temp guage climbing constantly, but i'm in it for the fun, underdone all the way!

just thought i'd throw another update in...

got my injectors cleaned and am putting them in today, then off to XTC in coburg for the tune. he says expect about 175rwkw, which should be fun. i had to make up a new intake pipe for the 80mm air flow meter. i also thouht i'd squeeze some more boost into her before it goes and the difference between six and eleven pounds is quite big.

my brake booster has a vacuum leak in it causing the motor to run a bit rough when i'm at the lights on the brakes, that coupled with my less than sorted front end handling will make for some very sloppy racing at Datnats on Sunday. but i'll be there

Run what you brung...that's what it's all about! Good on you for keeping at it and making the effort.

I still have a couple of little things to do, but I willbe there on Friday Testing at Wakefield, Saturday for the Show and Sunday at the track day...Also Heading to the Dinner Sunday night...any others attending?

Things to do before Friday.........

1. Install new Noltec Strut tops.
2. Cover Headlights Contact
3. Get some metal Valve Caps - What's that about?
4. Do wheel alignment.
5. Sign writing on the car (wednesday night)

See you there!

Well... I've just gotton my electrics sorted - I have my park & tail back (thank christ) and my dash lights have been fixed
(which haven't worked since I got the Zed! wooo hooo!)
Got some A008rs tyres ready (thier stuffed, but they'll do for the WE).
Now all I need is some hard brake pads for the super sprint...
I'll be broke, BUT I'LL BE THERE!!!
