just curious as to what others may think, or possible options. I am currently getting my 12a motor rebuilt and without doing too much to the internals i am trying to think of ways of possible power increases. So far iam thinkin of extractors and new exhaust and also finkin bout puttin on a new weber downdraught carby. i hear you can do this with just an adaptor plate. if anyone has got any ideas let us know cheers.

Are you talking about a 12a or an A12 ?

If its the 12a then get it ported, weber carby and extractors.

If its an A12 and your getting it rebuilt . think about a sporty cam.
Upgrade the carby,downdraught weber, twin SUs ,I have sidedraught weber manifold to suit 1200 for sale for $90 if thats any help.
definately fit the extractors and less restrictive exhaust.
