why do ppl think that ppl who work computers are smart.. theyve just learnt about them same way doctors and electricians learn their trade.

i want computer in my car too. maybee in a few years when cars come with pc's built into them will i be more enthused to bother paying for it or wiring it or even bothering to use it when im done. eg wirelessly send mp3's to my car from a computer inside the house.

Mini ITX style box
tv-out onboard
touchscreen LCD (at least 7")
24bit digital audio output, going into your system
firewire/usb2 external hard drive(s)
DVD-RW or at LEAST a DVD reader (possibly external, eg in dash near LCD screen
multiple card reader memorystick etc
PCMCIA slot onboard (for your laptop cards)
bluetooth or WIFI scanning for hotspots
oodles of hard drive space for all your movies and mp3 and whatever else (datsun drag video clips)
unwired internet w/ stealthy external antenna
rubber foldable keyboard (for emergencies)
mouse or rollball
xbox / ps2 boring but still have em for your friends
sat nav
digital radio
internet radio
all i can think of. all of this is available now - theres lots of windows programs which are designed for the above tasks.. some of them are free..

not sure if this is freeware or gpl or what..
digital car thing recent news

How is this for smart
get a drivers side seat from a coupe. Bolt it in the passenger side.
When you need the laptop push the lever, seat pops forward and laptop is velcroed to back of seat.

I'll help ya out 'cause I'm smart...

Chuck it in the tray - plenty of room there.
Get yourself a computer desk and chuck it in too.

Get an extension cord from Bunnings to power it - they're on special at the moment.

They are 25m long so, in order to calculate the number of extension cords needed, multiply the number of kms from start to destination by 40.

I think that answered your question...

My son is 9 years old. He knows when and where to use capital letters and correct punctuation. I guess that explains the title of this thread.

Idea#1 Buy a Motec ECU and plug the laptop into it.
