I'm after a CA flywheel preferably in the SE QLD region. If you have a spare one please give me a call on 0402 481 829 or 843 1328.
Thanks Matty

Thanks mate. If I can't get a second hand one in the next week for the right price I'll give them a call. Their website says they weigh 4.5kg. Do you know how much a standard one weighs?
Thanks Matty

Im pretty sure the stocko flywheel is a bit over 10kg. I know they are mega heavy compared to the swiss cheese style steel one I have Alloy ones are also available but very $$$ for a good quality job

I haven't had anyone get back to me today so I'll try a couple of import wreckers tomorrow and if I still have no luck I'll just have to grind the bolt heads off and use the flywheel I've got.
Thanks guys
Matty

Matty why do you have to grind the bolt heads off?? Have you tried a good size air rattle gun?? I find If I cant a bolt loose with a decent breaker bar & pipe I take it to town a place that works on trucks (most mecahnical shops should have one) and get it rattle guned loose.
I had to have this done for the big nut that holds the rotary flywheel on. Also its best to use new bolts torque it upto spec and use loctite aswell.

Andrew I've tried a 3 foot long breaker bar and 2 different rattle guns and still only managed to get 3 out of the 8 bolts off! I've ordered new bolts from Nissan. I heard about your flywheel letting go at the Jamboree from my brother so your advice has definitely been listened to.
Thanks again Matty

Matty sounds like you need to use a bigger rattle gun one of them inch drive babies (used on mining equipment and trucks) if that wont budge them I dont know what will!!! grinding should be used as a last resort.
Good luick
