What do you guys think of thermo fans- are they better than the regular motor fan, or not?
Im running(soon) an A15 in my ute, with the radiator from a sunny.Im thinking big fan, low temp.am i right?

also, what if you put a (colour coded)thermo fan onto the louvres on the rocker cover? thats gotta be worth
a few more HP....
thanks, Linc.

I personally think thermo fans are great little items. If you wire them up right. The way i am going to wire mine up (when i get them) is have a switch in the cabin just to control the
actual on off - instead of being wired to the ignition. Then have the fans hooked up to a thermometer in the radiator so they can cut in at the operating temp. (or just above?
180degrees is OT i think????anyone???)

The stock fan is pretty small anyway and wouldnt be taking much power at all. And u allways know its working.

What do u mean by putting a fan onto the rocker cover???? im not quite with it there.

My 2 cents + gst
