I'm looking for the photo's now to put up..
Apparently one of the photographer's got a sequence of the whole thing...

If someone can tell me how to convert the footage to a useable format for the web I'll put it up....

I saw Tim at the end of the Rosebery Targa stage and Im sure he still had both legs. I watched the footage on the news. I dare say the TV company you work for loved the footage (but not the broken bits cost). Tim will we see you on the Targa 2005 DVD?

Tom how did the car you was with go?

it went great, rained abit, got wet, in hobart we de glazed the brakes and in burnie we topped up the fluid levels and thats all, o and the synchro on 4th is a bit dodgy, from 5 to 4 dosnt work but double clutch from 5-3-4 works, im un sure on how but thats wat we figed out, but yeah we had great fun, we were touring (following the elfin) in a kia carnival, and i think we broke it in we red-lined (6400-6700) it in every gear someplaces. and got it up to 130km/h (i have photos) out near fingal, we took it 4wd' n on some forestry tracks, and had the "doofas" pumpin and windows shakin in sandybay (amazin standard sound system) ahhh.... govenment cars :) .
BUT DONT TELL ANYONE... OK

Good to hear you enjoyed it sounds like you had fun.

I had 2 lovely days of rain for my Targa. Sat setting up most of the road closures (it rained all day) and Sun morning finishing off tapping off the roads (raining) during the stage ltiile bit of rain. When we finished and started packing up the stage you guessed it it poured down again. the things we do for the love of cars.

they need to boil the water to drink it in Queenstown because of al the bugs and tape worms in the water system. (I sh1t you not).
Being a ex-west coaster I know what you mean by every one being out for the cars.

yes that would of been me you saw in Canberra as i got my 15 seconds of fame when the story went "national".

Dave, everything is in the right place and still works, your "commentary" is not far off but i didn't have time to even think about swearing......

Iv'e learn't after 9 Targa's, don't eat or drink anything from Queenstown...

(Damage totals about 25 grand, I made it into the party tape which is all the screw ups from the week put to music and shown/sold at the dinner. As for the Doco we'll have to wait and see..)
