here is a thread about the transplant AFRacer has done to his car...note the start time and the finish time and the work involved. Be sure you will carry it to resolution or youll just be another statistic.

hey uckedsilvia,
I guess your name says where you'll be getting the SR20 from.

If your outting in a NA SR20 then yes alls you need to get is get someone to check it over and MOD PLATE it, but if your going with an SR20DET then you are exceeding the power to weight ration limit so therefore you must get a full engineers report, which cost about $600 as they check over your whole car and they make sure your car will handle it. People who can do these reposts are a little more scearse then your mod platers.

So take that into consideration before you do the conversion as the amount of mods you may need to do to your car ie, breaks and suspension could turn out to be dearer then your engine conversion. As they don't do dodgy reports as they have basically said it's safe and if you crash then the Dept of transport look down apon the company and then you could sue them for the dodgy report.

Anyways thats my 2 cents

Cheers
Damo
