Yeah, I did a bit of internet research for fun. Some bikes have an electric reverse & one guy used a flywheel & starter motor. If I got serious, the first thing I would do is contact a trike manufacturer as the technology should be similar. I also thought about a shaft driven bike as a donor.

What about motorbike parts? They make some excellent side mirrors & petrol caps. Maybe some of their gauges? I was told by a mate who is an engineer by trade that they put a motorbike engine & gearbox in a Mazda 1000 ute & ran chain drive. It got me thinking. Apparently they even got it approved as their was no rule saying you must have reverse. They all forgot about that.

there was a post on here a while back about a mini in england that had the whole rear end chopped out, and they put a road bike engine in it. rear wheel drive and all, and it went hard.

about the no reverse, maybe you could adapt something from a 4 wheeler? some of those have reverse.
just make sure you upgrade the clutch!

Skyline R31 lsd, rear brakes and fuel tank.
Silvia motor, gearbox, radiator and front brakes.
Stanza tailshaft.
Gti-R turbo.
About the only non Datsun/Nissan parts are a Ford Falcon fuel filter and a Ford Meteor radiator overflow bottle.
