turbo or NA?

Z24 crank with machined counterweights, 89mm bore, i think KA24DE pistons and i'm not sure which rods.

ported A87 head or V91 (200B gas) with double valve springs, 76degree cam and twin 45s on a twin SU manifold to keep with class regs. nice big valves too (L26 or L28 turbo) and datsport headers.

now i have access too all those things...r the N/a L28 vavles the same size?

This LZ hybrid has become legendary thanks to the web: lots of people refer to it or claim to be building one, but I only know of one guy (aside from a baja race team) who actually built it, and that guy sold that motor to me, so I know what it's about, and I can tell you it's best suited for an baja race truck which it was originally conceived.

why do ppl put the Z24 crank in the L20b block, why just not use the L series head on the Z24 block??

Is the Z24 crank a direct fit into the L20b block???

you need to machine the counterweights down to make it all fit - but yes, same bearing spacing i;m led to believe.

i did a ton of research on this before i went with a turbo L18 instead.

most people don;t put the L20B head on the Z24 because class regs stipulate orginal block and head.

that said, i rememebr Baz saying something about a worked L20B being quicker than the 2.4L...

It's got torque no question. But it's a slow revver that runs out of steam leaving you without a wide powerband. But hey, it does do okay in the autox where throttle response is more important than revability.
