I think youll find the rules still apply. Anyway in a 1200 running 9sec quarters at over 160mph I think I would like a cage. I mean if you hit the wall life is over at that point. 1200s are made from recycled coke cans you know.

I can sell you a twisted coupe which would twist the opposite way to your torque and all would be OK!!!

ANDRA rules say that if you run quicker than 10.99 i believe you need a full cage, harness ect.

building 1200 coupe with 13b turbo,(yeah i know MAZDA in datto!)aiming for 9s but want to keep the car as streetable as possible. i know of a few drag cars running 7s and 8s but all seem to use rollcage. i know this is a good option to strenghten up the whole car but is there another streetable option like chassis rails or something? thanks for your help.
