This one I know of and have seen. Used to be Jeff Taylors Personal Car.
It has a A12 which has been stroked to 1500cc legal for PRC. This is a perfromance bargain....one Id buy myself if I had room and $$$. Snap this one up quick....

that must be Steve Newing's old 1200 sport sedan, is it? Ex State Champ - can't have been too many 1200 SS state champs! has a similar look to his stanza with the colour and wing design.


My other question is - how the hell are you supposed to climb into that Sunny???

I believe the Sunny runs (or at least ran) a CA16 - it's a very well sorted car, and very well engineered.

years ago IPRA cars had to have a passenger seat, and sights like this were not uncommon as people went looking for the lightest possible thing the looked like a "seat" to fit to their race cars. I guess back then seats didn't have to be FIA approved or anything!

I would love to get hold of the A14 and gbox out of the Pulsar. It might be a bit of a squeeze into the Cherry but man would it get up and go. I wonder if in his spares he has another A14 and gbox.

I worked on that Sunny when i was an apprentice/ work experience. It is a CA16 (he brought 3 for $100 each). Don Pellet automotive, on abel st Penrith, built by the new owner (at the time ) Steve. I believe he was in the Blue Mountains Christian car club from memory.

As above Steve (probably 50 by now, thin, black hair, 6ft at least) as for surnames i cannot remember it was about 7 years ago now. Some of the sponsorship (like Don Pellet and Repco) stickers have been removed so it may of changed hands since.
