i have just puled the clutch and gear box out and can find nothing rong
the clutch arm is puling in more than enough the presure plate all the fingers are nice and even and as for the cluthc plate being on the right way well it only goes on one way si i ruled that out .
he only thing i can think of at this stage is the air is damp here at the moment and when i had it all out to fit the a14 the damp air might have made the clutch plate swell
so i will put it back togeather and drive it around for a while and see if it comes good if not i might have tofgrab a new clutch kit

Check for cracks in the release fork or wear on the pivot, also check the spigot bush, and that the clutch moves freely on the spline

Did you change the clutch cable?

In the past, when building a datto, I have grabbed a b310 clutch cable by mistake. (Probably cos it looked newer) Only to find that it was longer, and the clutch wouldn't disengage.

The other thing it miight be, Is, are you using a flywheel that is too thick?
I have seen big heavy flywheels, Out of like c20 vans. (which use a different bell housing) that take up so much room in a standard bellhousing that the fork can't make the pressure plate throw out.

i am using all the same parts as was behind my a12
the flywheel is lightend so it should not be to thick i have a brand new spigit bearing
its all in good order the clutch arm has plenty of movement so i think it has somthing to do with the clutch and presure plate

The description is giving mixed messages.
Tightening the clutch cable will put more pressure on the clutch fork, therefore making the clutch easier to slip.
But the description of the gears making noise tells me the clutch isnt releaseing completely.

well when i had it apart i noticed that the fingers on the presure plate have hit the clutch plate from when i had it adjusted as tight as it would go so that is defanetly working but yes the clutch is still not releasing
