does this engine have any internal work ie ported head big cams etc, did u balance evrything inside or wat? if your getting such good results from wat sound like an almost stock a14, with just a j-pipe, stock inlet etc, i cant wait to see what my set up goes like, ive been waiting for ages, all the mods ive done seem to feel like nothing after waiting so long...... also, u reckon its possible to take a photo of the turbo or show me an old one of just the turbo itself im still yet to find out exactly wat turbo i have.....

yeh the front mount is mounted right in da middle...it is the standard inlet manifold.....the exhaust manifold is also dead STOCK...... i used a j pipe...(which is a a pipe that atteches to the existing exhaust manifold and bends back to the turbo).......

i raced an rb25 vl today with 3" exhaust 10 psi with a massive front mount.....we started in second.....i flooged the #### outa him at the start i pulled about 3 car lengths....untill i got to 4th gear where he caught up and overtook me....the gearing is quite annoying in my car me thinks.....but yeh that'll give u a bit of an idea....

Looking gewwd, where have you placed the front mount? To the side or in the middle? Also by the looks of things you've used the stnd inlet manifold yeah? What about the exhaust manifold, did u get one made up or do it ya self...?

Sorry bout all the q's, im just intrigued by it ! Looks good and sounds tough aswell...

I'd like some more pics, my dad is trying to convince me to go a standard rotary instead of a turbo A series in my project car and i disagree

A series turbo'd engines are tuff but I went CA as previously said realiablility of EFI, but also the CA has more scope to get more power (ie bigger displacment, DOHC)

But with all turbod cars I just love the sound of the turbo spoolin then the kick in the back you get when it comes onto boost :)
