that the sunny coupe came out with the 5 speed as standard????

freeway driving must = 5 speed for half decent economy......

last half of 1981 sunny wagons with a15's sometimes had 5 speeds in australia.

No..never as standard.

It was available as an option in most models. And was standard on the GX-5speed option in 1973. None habe made it to Australia (yet) that I know of. It's a long term plan for me to acquire one if the opportunity arises.
