I have problems solwing my 3 months misery. Piston #2 is fireing wrong. Looks like not permanentlyfireing or not getting fuel but other 3 pistons work perfect. Does not matter if engine is hot or cold, engine works #### the same way. The compression ratio is OK, spark is OK, I changed the distributor and cables. Other 3 pistong fire wonderful. What could be the cause?
3 months of trouble, please help. I do not want to pull out the whole engine out.

A new cap, rotor, and a set of NGK plugs would be a good place to start.

Does it sound better when the revs rise?
Does the plug in #2 look like it is running lean?
If so, I would look for vacuum leaks. Spray a bit of CRC/WD40/INOX around the manifold, if the idle changes, you are looking in the right spot.
I would suggest a cracked intake manifold or gasket.
