I saw this threads topic and I hoped it wasn't a noob asking how to make their sedan a 9sec sedan.
Thanks god I was proved wrong. The weight of the engine probably disadvantages it.

I could see that as well "If I put an RB26 in my 1200 will it runs 9s". As for the weight if I'd used a V8 I would have left it as an N/A engine still good power to be made there.

Thats retarded...
I know its great for a drag but its a butchering if you ask me... If you want to impress me, make it do 9s with a 4cyl though.. I doubt that 9s is even possible with a built SR .. I think the wheels would just spin, alot. I hate V8's.... coming for the UK, I thought that it sounded cool becuase they are huge, but now I know that engineering in North american engines are horrible in comparison to pretty much anything else.

Uh SLAM1024, did you miss the part where it said the Rigolis are doing 8s with a 4-cylinder?
But why knock someone else's work? He's got a fast car, nicely done. Give credit where credit is due. SLAM1024's V8 Datsun ![]() You can view topic.
